Anjali Aggarwal is a Research Fellow at Landstack, specializing in qualitative research, impact evaluations, and crafting compelling case stories. Her work focuses on community-led conservation, indigenous land tenure systems, and carbon markets, spanning forestry, natural resource management, and climate action. With over a decade in the development sector, Anjali has collaborated with national and international organizations such as Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSPI), Foundation for Ecological Security (FES), UNICEF, CREA, Plan India, and INREM Foundation. Her research and documentation efforts bring to light the lived realities and knowledge systems of Indigenous and rural communities, shaping narratives that help design more effective grassroots programmes. She holds a postgraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, with a specialisation in conservation and livelihoods. Anjali loves gardening, reading, and birdwatching—making annual pilgrimages to the Bharatpur bird sanctuary. She also professes to be an expert in hula hooping and tongue twisters.
