Name of Client: The Land Portal Foundation

Description of Project: This collaboration between NRMC- Center for Land Governance and the Land Portal will be for the duration of six months and will focus on activities in the exchange of content, data and knowledge in the area of mutual interest in light of the establishment of NRMC- Center for Land Governance as the Local Data Hub for India for the Land Portal Foundation. Grant Agreement focuses on providing the following main outputs:

A. Knowledge management capacity building and information exchange;

B. Contribution to the Land Portal’s India Country Portfolios;

C. Facilitation of an online discussion on the Land Portal’s Land Debate

As part of the project, CLG had undertaken the following assignments.

Inception report describing methodology and implementation schedule;

A visualization of LGAF data for six India states on the Land Book India Country Portfolio with downloadable indicators on the Land Portal’s Land Book;

More than 200 land-related resources ingested into the Land Portal services with standardized metadata and classified through LandVoc and Land Portal support and advice about website software for online knowledge repositories;

A detailed country narrative (at least 1,200 words) on land governance in India for the Land Portal’s India country portfolio
