Anjali Patel is a public policy professional with expertise in natural resources management, environmental governance, and sustainable development. She combines strong academic grounding with field-based research experience, applying skills in policy analysis, project management, and participatory research methods.
Her work has included engaging with diverse stakeholders, analysing institutional structures, and conducting on-ground studies in forest-dependent communities to understand ecological, socio-economic, and governance dynamics. She has explored community-led approaches to conservation and natural resource management, with a focus on equitable and evidence-based solutions.
Anjali holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, where her dissertation examined the institutional governance aspects of a just energy transition. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications.
Beyond her professional work, Anjali enjoys painting, exploring new places, and caring for animals, finding inspiration and balance through creativity and nature.
