Omkar Modak has experience in legal issues surrounding housing credit and finance. He has worked previously as a management trainee (Legal & credit) at Sewa Grih Rin. He has also been an Urban fellow at the Indian institute of human settlements where he worked on buisness models of rental housing in Bangalore. He holds a masters in history and archaeology from Mumbai University.
